Driftless

Commissioned by the Oneota Film Festival in Decorah Iowa, Driftless is crowd-sourced film consisting of smartphone videos contributed by community members. Illustrating the places and people that residents found meaningful, this work is a visual document about a Midwest town from the perspectives of the citizens who live there. Rattner facilitated and edited the production of this project as the 2016 artist in residence of the Oneota Film Festival.
